Fidel Castro Undergoes Tracheostomy

Our good friend Charlie Bravo informs us that Killcastro's contacts in Cuba have learned that Fidel has undergone a tracheostomy in recent days. This has been confirmed independently by Karmchand, a blogger from Cuba, whose Bitácora Cubana we recommend to your consideration.

This development tells us something about the present state of Fidel Castro's health. He was obviously having difficulty breathing on his own, which necessitated the tracheotomy; however, his condition is not yet so critical as to require a ventilator to do his breathing for him. Still, a tracheostomy is not a positive development. Speech is now difficult if not impossible for him.

Castro now has an artificial pipe for inhaling air and an artificial pipe for exhaling air. I wonder, if Chávez blew on one end, whether the air would come out the other? We know which end Chávez would choose to blow into.

So, you have broken your pledge and returned to us, as we all knew you would. Too dull for you in the phantasmagorical realms of Babalú, where Fidel is killed and resurrected every couple of weeks?

The news that we report comes directly from Cuba, not from the fevered imaginations of those who can't decide whether Fidel is dead or not, but who always err on the side of the Sitemeter.

Sorry if I "warmed up" for you something that you want to keep on a low fire.

In fact, I did not visit your blog today. So you must have another reader in Union City, N.J. Whoopie!

Manuel, that's a powerful visual.
Maybe Chavez blows -and inhales- through both ends!
The tracheotomy has been independently confirmed, so something's going to go up at KillCastro soon....

You are an articulate person, keep it like that, don't make a dumb mistake by assuming shit, manuel.

Well, the two of you have coincided on this thread. Now you may renew your acquaintance and leave the inferences to others.

Manuel
Does he not always break his promises? it's hard for me to believe anything he says

Though it certainly goes against the Christian principles I was raised by, can't help the "schadenfreude" experienced by knowing "gluteus maximus barbatus" is experiencing setback after setback, slowly but surely. It seems almost as if his slow, painful strangulation of the Cuban people were now being visited upon his quasi-carcass.

It couldn't be happening to a nicer guy...

An eloquent analogy. With the additional irony that now Little Brother is holding the cords both to Castro's existence and Cuba's.

I knew Fantomas could not keep his promise of never coming back. He is adicted to this blog. He is also adicted to throw insults left and right. He is one of these guys who will never learn his lesson no matter how many times he is taught. Well, we will have to bear with him again. Just one I thought it was safe to visit here, he pops up again. He was posting last week about Castro's demise every hour on the hour, and made a complete fool of himself just like the Babalunians. "There will be an announcement within 3 hours", he is dead and Cuba's TV will announce it shortly" and other such nonsense. I find it amazing how people can make fools of themselves with this nonsense day after day. I hate it when they raise our expectations and then we receive a letdown. It has gotten to the point where I don't even bother to read about this subject anymore because is starting to get on my nerves. I guess when it happens the news media will report it. Is a case of too much wishing and not enough real facts.

Glad to see you are ok, you have been quiet for a while.
We all knew fanto would not keep his promise, he's not a man of his word, he and Babalu sure made fools of themselves announcing a lie, I'll wait till I hear it from Manuel, or Killcastro, they are the ones I trust
