Aw, I should have taken note that the Granma doesn't quote dissidents. I am lost here. I don't know how's that I missed that those many years I lived in Cuba.
Maybe because I didn't bother with the Granma....
He sounds more and more like the youngest brother in the TV show "Arrested Development."

I don't quite understand why you are making fun of that post in Babalublog. It is informative and revealing to most non-Cuban visitors.
It may be obvious to you that Granma censors information but believe me, to the average Joe, it is not.
If one of the goals of your blog is not to expose the Cuban regime then forgive my intrusion.

I really don't know how it would be possible for someone to be interested in Cuba and not know that Granma is the official organ of the Cuban Communist Party. But I take your point: Babalú is a blog written for beginners, the Idiot's Guide to Castro's Cuba, or Ríos for anti-Communists.

Even if all visitors were knew Granma was not someone's Grandma, as we speak, the left leaning MSN is flooded with statements like "historic new openness in Havana ... Raul publishes Bush's speech ... there is no censorship in Cuba" etc.
Very few outlets are making a distinction between publishing a speech in its entirety and publishing the 1/3 of the speech that can best be spun by the regime's totalitarian government controlled press..
In the meantime influential Cuban Exile blogs are busy sneering at each other...
If I am the only one seeing this, please forgive the interruption.
Please, keep up the good work. I think it is invaluable for the pursuit of a free Cuba.
