RCAB News: A Visit from the Vatican

A visit from vatican.va [Holy See (Vatican City State)] this morning at 5:52:23 PM. They used google.it to search for "Catholic martyrs against Communism." Glad that someone there is still interested.

Read the articles that the pope (or a seminarian) read:

  1. Good thing the man at the Vatican did not use the words babalu, mad house, moneo, etc he would have been dissapointed with the findings

No, I don't think that if he wanted martyrs he would have found them there. However, if he were looking for matracas the man from the Vatican would have found a surfeit.

  11. Allow me to play devil's advocate, Fantomas has been behaving civilly and responsibly during the past few days, he deserves credit for that behavior, I hope he has turned the corner and has acquired the wisdom that is imparted by experience. I say give him a break and hope that his current conduct is not temporary.

  13. "One word: schizophrenia."

It is treatable, as long as the patient follows the therapeutic sessions and takes the prescribed medication(s) the results are quite good, the common problem that affects the majority of patients is that they stop attending the recommended therapy sessions, they usually claim that they feel well (which is true) and that as the medication regiment has been successful (also true,) there is no longer a need to attend therapy (trouble alert,) this self-deception leads to a weakness in the overall treatment and becomes a weak link in the treatment chain that eventually leads the patient to believe that the medication(s) is no longer necessary, the results are catastrophic. I don't think that Fantomas suffers from schizophrenia, he suffers castroitis, as many other Cubans do, the tyranny has a lot to answer for when justice comes calling.

  14. Angel,
I am sorry to disappoint you but this is only a temporary lapse. You will see the real Fantomas emerge any day now. His condition is not curable. He is permanet damaged goods. Is just a matter of time until the real Fantomas reappears. Don't say we did not warn you.

  15. OK, duly noted, I hope that there will be no need for me to have to state that I stand corrected, not because I have any difficulty with acknowledging my mistakes, but for Fantomas' sake. Are you listening Fantomas?

  17. MAT,
the Catholic church in Cuba sinks to a new alltime low. Read the article and you can form your own opinion about Monsignor Cespedes.

  18. Now that was a quick reversal of thought, Freudian slip Fantomas? It can happen to anyone, so don't feel that you're alone on that boat. It was a good idea to remove your own comment, don't let me down man, don't let me down.

  19. Angel,
I have not seen it myself, but MAT has mentioned on several occasions, how he has deleted his own comments after a few minutes have elapsed. Perhaps his brain finally has synchronized and caught up with the muscles of his fingers. (In this case we cannot say his brain caught up with his mouth).
Or perhaps after thinking over what he wrote, he realized what a fool he made of himself and decided to erase the evidence.
Who kowns what lurks in the mind of Fantomas? I have seen worse, believe me, so nothing really surprises me anymore.

As my father would have said if he was confronted by someone like Fantomas:

"A mi de este Sr. ya no me sorprende nada, porque yo estoy curado de espanto!

  22. "...Read the articles that the pope (or a seminarian) read..."

Very interesting Manuel, one of the various reasons that caused me to make an educated decision to renounce my Catholicism in 1980, was the way in which the hierarchy of the church treated and viewed anything that presented what they believed to be a challenge to long established dogma, there was no effort or even an attempt to be willing to pray to God as per the instructions of our Lord Jesus Christ in order to seek the Divine guidance of the Lord and its Biblical promise of comfort and response by the Holy Spirit, basically there is a canned response: this is the way and the only way.

To any Christian that has done the appropriate research that would allow him or her to respectfully disagree and present the Biblical evidence that refutes dogmatic tradition, it is crystal clear that the established dogma is more faithful to human dictates and opinions than to its Godly and Biblical counterpart(s,) it is not that difficult to understand Martin Luther's protest and to follow in his footsteps.

  23. Martin Luther was an anti semite, he thought to convert the Jews, when he could not he turned on them. Or so I've read.

  24. Vana, forcefully converting the Jews was a sickness of most of Christianity for a long time, while there were exceptions which manifested themselves in private, it was a difficult road that even to this day appears to have its followers, anyone or any religious institution that supported the misguided treatment of the Jews that took place for centuries, was in complete denial of the fact that the Messiah was promised and sent for the Jews not the gentiles, the original followers of Jesus were Hebrews, Jesus was Hebrew, the age of grace that began when the perfect sacrifice of the lamb of God took place was extended to us gentiles per God's mercy, but its primary goal was to deliver the Jews, the misguided belief that the Jews were killers of Jesus and should be punished for this act, completely ignores the prophecies of the Old Testament wherein the same promise of the Messiah, the Christ redeemer was given to various profets throughout the centuries, the reason for the similar prophecies given by God to different prophets had various goals, the most important one being the confirmation of the same message of hope via different vessels, this would serve to validate the message and would prevent it from being attributed to the whim of any one man, the hope that the prophets brought to the Hebrews through their messages was also an important goal.

Prior to the willful sacrifice of Jesus, the sins of the sons and daughters of Abraham, Issac and Jacob, were covered by the shedding of blood during the sacrifices that were performed by the priests of Israel, the people brought the best of what they had to offer (e.g. sheep, goats, or whatever animals they had) but these sacrifices did not erase the sins, for in the eyes of God only a perfect sacrificial lamb would be capable of such feat, this is why Jesus the Son of God, part of the Trinity, came as a perfect man, it is also the reason why He is known as The Lamb of God, the only way that perfection would be found has to be from God, not from man or the rest of creation for it was cursed by God when He expelled Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden.

When Jesus was to be arrested, tried and eventually crucified, He had at His command all of the angelical armies of Heaven, the two thirds that remained loyal to God and refused to follow Lucifer (he became known as Satan when he and the one third of the angels that followed him were cast down to Hell by God. BTW, Hell was created for them, not for mankind) had Jesus not been sent to fulfill the prophecies, to be the perfect sacrificial lamb that would pay for all the sins of mankind, no human authority or army would have been able to withstand the onslaught of His angelical forces, but He knew His purpose and He fulfilled it, I say again His sacrifice inaugurated the Age of Grace, we live in such age now, it is not meant to be eternal, it will end and when it does the only way for any human to be able to be saved by God will be by offering his or her life in the name of Jesus, right now during the Age of Grace all that is required of any human who wants to be saved and have his/her sins forgiven (erased) is to accept the Lord Jesus Christ as his/her Lord and saviour.

No true Christian (follower of Jesus the Christ) can ever accuse the Jews of being killers of Christ, no true Christian can adhere to any belief that advocates any harm to the Jews, the Institution known as the Catholic Church (a misnomer) is the last branch of Christianity to have finally understood and acknowledge this fact (better late than never,) the many sins of members of its hierarchy against the Jews in no way place culpability on the souls of the lay Catholics (the real church) that have faithfully followed what they have been taught by the official members of the hierarchy. There are members of some Protestant congregations that look upon their Catholic brothers and sisters deridingly, that is also ignorance of the Holy Scriptures and in my opinion not Christian, I stand by my Catholic brothers and sisters, all members of the same family. I also stand by my Jewish brothers and sisters who are followers of Christ, they are known as Messianic Jews.

  25. Angel:

No hell was created for Satan, it already exsisted Earth, we know this because he told Christ in the desert, one act of adoration and I shall give you all the kindoms of earth, therefore he owns the world is his hell and ours, for I firmly believe that all you do here against humankind you pay for it here, that is why I'm not a believer of any organized church.

I try to live my life by the teachings of Christ which is the only way you can trully embrace him, even in the Our Father the only prayer Jesus taught us is firmly quoted, forgive us our trespasses as we forgive others, for we will only get back what we are willing to give.

  26. Vana, you have taken the passage out of context, the purpose Satan had was to take advantage of Jesus in his humanly debilitated state (fast.) Fasting is a practice that when applied to the Jews and Christians it is done to strengthen the spirit over the flesh, Satan in his eternal stupidity neglected to notice that although Jesus the man appeared weakened by hunger, He was in fact stronger than on the first day that He entered the desert. Satan committed what he had done many times before and has done many times since, he lied, it is no accident that he is known as "the deceiver," (the communists come to mind, don't they?) additionally he tried to trick Jesus by claiming to quote the Scriptures, but he deceitfully omitted key words from the passage that he chose to misparaphrase, the key words detail and determine the context within which the writing should be applied, furthermore, satan also neglected to acknowledge that it is futile to use the word (of God) against the Word (Jesus), it is all similar to the old Cuban adage that states "No vallaz ha bailar a la casa del trompo que vas ha perder." Hell had already been created by God for the punishment of Satan and his fallen angels a.k.a. demons.

True Christianity CANNOT and SHOULD NOT be forced upon any individual, for God the Father has clearly given humanity freedom of choice in His teachings (The Holy Scriptures) how dare any human not appointed by God to try to impose Christianity upon anyone and state that God commands it, at the moment that any individual says that, he or she is immediately condemning himself/herself to eternal damnation as per the Scriptures wherein it is clearly stated that no words shall be added or detracted from them upon penalty of eternal damnation. What God does command and Jesus verified and taught is to spread the word and the good news of salvation to all mankind, the choice to follow God or not, is up to each and every individual.

When you state that you try to live your life by the teachings of Christ, you are absolutely correct, that is the way God intends it to be as per the Scriptures, that is why I do not follow any religion, I am a Christian as per God's mercy for which I am and will be eternally grateful, it is a spiritual relationship with God, it is not a religion and definitely not a philosophy, according to the Holy Bible you are on the right track, my recommendation to you, as a fellow Christian and Cuban is to whenever you get a chance and you want to do it out of your own volition, read the Holy Bible, before you do that, commend yourself in or by praying (not saying prayers) to the Holy Spirit for His guidance in the Holy Name of Jesus and understanding of what you are going to read, this is in following the teachings of Jesus Himself.
